Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, February 9 -- Exanet, a developer of digital storage system solutions, announced today that Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) has been named the worldwide distributor of Exanet's digital storage products to the graphic arts industry. Exanet's solutions allow users to easily and quickly access and manage vast amounts of ever-changing data in a cost-effective and high performance manner. KPG has already begun promoting and selling Exanet products with a focus on the scalable storage cluster ExaStore family of digital storage products tailored specifically for pre-media applications for the graphic arts industry. Exastore is optimized for medium-sized commercial printers with prepress facilities, large commercial printers with or without prepress facilities, prepress houses, publishing houses, large advertising agencies and post production video companies and all companies that produce and require immediate access to digital data. Leveraging Exanet, KPG will provide a complete digital storage solution to its customers, incorporating the Exanet software with hardware integrated, installed, supported and serviced by Exanet and its TSI Division. Exanet products are co-branded with KPG. Jeff Jacobson, CEO of Kodak Polychrome Graphics stated, "We have conducted a careful review of the digital storage needs of the graphic arts marketplace. It is clear that the digital storage needs of the industry are in an explosive growth mode. Like film and plates, digital storage can now be considered a consumable that will require continuous expansion in this rapid growth period. We found the unique features of Exanet's ExaStore, specifically tuned to the pre-media industry, make it the perfect family of digital storage products for KPG to market to this very demanding industry." Dr. Giora Yaron, Chairman and CEO of Exanet stated, "KPG's worldwide presence will accelerate the penetration rate of Exanet's products to the graphic arts industry, enabling more and more customers to enjoy the cost performance benefits offered by the Exanet products." Mel Ettinger, President of the Digital Media Division of Exanet, commented, "Exanet serves a very significant market need as the first digital storage products tailored specifically for the graphic arts industry. It was important that we chose the right worldwide distributor. Having been associated with KPG for many years, and a former CEO of KPG's predecessor, Polychrome Corporation, I know that Kodak Polychrome Graphics is the perfect choice."
