PSDA Profiles Industry's Emerging Stars

Press release from the issuing company

PSDA, the Print Services and Distribution Association, is proud to introduce the February issue of its flagship monthly publication, Print Solutions™. This special issue focuses on young professionals who are playing significant roles for their companies – which cover the range of the print and marketing supply chain. These special individuals are charting the course for the industry – and are fresh examples of growth, optimism and talent.

“Our goal for this issue was to demonstrate that the future of our industry is, indeed, in good hands when you consider the caliber and character of these next-generation leaders,” said Matt Sanderson, PSDA Executive Vice President. “Frankly, the stories, lessons and applicable takeaways exceeded even our most optimistic hopes. After reading this issue, there’s no way you cannot be inspired and excited about the future of print and the diverse set of value added solutions that our distributors and channel partners are able to provide.”

Through dozens of profiles, readers will see the common attributes that distinguish the industry’s successful young professionals. These qualities include collaboration, proficiency with new media and technology, a sustained focus on professional development, and a natural tendency towards problem solving and customer service. Readers will also learn how these trailblazing professionals and businesses are creating success in new roles across a variety of disciplines (social media, security, process improvement) and newer business categories (document security, digitization, privacy and regulatory issues). Finally, the issue includes an in-depth article on leading-edge university programs at Cal Poly and Rochester Institute of Technology, two of the premier academic programs for print industry professionals.

“As a mission-driven organization dedicated to the print supply and distribution industries, PSDA could not be more pleased with the quality and depth of this issue of Print Solutions,” said Bill Prettyman, PSDA Board President and President/CEO of Wise. “The ingenuity, drive, creativity and professionalism of the individuals profiled not only give tangible examples for better business practices, but also serve as a motivation for us all, regardless of job role.”
