Color-Logic Images Take Honors in PIANKO Competition

Wednesday, March 07, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Color-Logic images were used by three winners of the 2011 Print Excellence Awards competition recently held by Printing Industries of Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Crest Graphics won a Gold medal for their 2011 ADDY ShowBook, the annual review of the best work of AdClub Cincinnati members.  The project, a 68-page full color book produced using offset printing with metallic special effects throughout, also garnered an award for the Best of Division for Under 20 Employees.

The Printing Plant received a Bronze medal for a cosmetics pouch produced with flexographic printing.

Commenting on the awards, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: “Not only did two printers receive medals for their printing using the Color-Logic process, it is important to note that the awards were granted by the judges for both lithographic and flexographic printing.  This demonstrates that the Color-Logic process is effective for brand promotion and market extensions regardless of the printing method employed.  We are deeply gratified by the awards received by our licensed printers.”

Color-Logic develops color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications.  Color-Logic provides brand owners, product managers, corporations, and their advertising agencies the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients with a simple print production process that yields dramatic results.  Color-Logic decorative effects utilize the existing workflows of printers and designers, yielding dynamic results without the use of special equipment. Color-Logic supports the value of print and works with designers and printers to enhance their printed media.  For more information, visit www.color-logic.com or call 513-258-0047.
