The Call for Entries for Printing Industries of America’s 2012 Premier Print Awards is now under way. In its 63rd year, the Premier Print Awards continue to celebrate the importance and craftsmanship of print. This competition provides a platform printers can utilize to gain recognition and be rewarded for their diligence and skill.

Companies from around the world are encouraged to submit their most flawless work so it can be considered for an award--a Certificate of Merit,  an Award of Recognition, or the "Benny." The Tribute to Print

The Premier Print Awards pays tribute to many different types of print. With over 100 categories to enter, there is an opportunity to celebrate and embrace the flexibility, utility, and versatile nature of print. Printers have the option to submit the same piece into multiple categories or enter multiple pieces into the same category to maximize the potential to win an award. 

Categories are further broken down by company size, giving any company the opportunity to win. All winners are listed on www.printing.org with their name and a link to their company's website. With more than 35,000 unique visitors logging onto Printing Industries of America website each month, this spotlight can be the catalyst a company has been searching for in order to achieve higher profits.

The Perks of Winning a Benny

Flawless entries that receive top honors in the Premier Print Awards will be presented with the highly coveted Benny statue at the Premier Print Awards Gala on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at the Chicago Marriott in conjunction with the InterTech™ Technology Awards Gala. The Benny is one of the most sought-after achievements for any printer and is a symbol of dedication and passion. 

Winners of the Benny are announced through a press release, which is sent out to pertinent media outlets. In addition, Benny winners are included in the Premier Print Awards Supplement, a publication that is sent to thousands of print buyers across the country. Entering a Piece

Entering a piece is easier than ever, especially with our online entry form which will escort printers through the entry process and can be found at www.printing.org/ppaentries. Any piece produced since May 1, 2011, can be entered. Printers can enter before April 20 to take advantage of the Early Bird discount. The final entry deadline is May 18, 2012.
