HUDSON, N.H., Oct. 28 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced that it is the recipient of multiple awards from American Business Communicators for its 2002 Annual Report. American Business Communicators, based in New York City, has been in existence since 1992 and works to acknowledge high quality design and printing in an arena the organization characterizes as "flooded with mediocrity." The company received a First Place award Overall, a Second Place award for Cover Design and a Third Place award for Photo or Illustration. Other companies receiving recognition in the Joint Production Category include Lockheed Martin, Maytag, Unisource Energy, and Pfizer. The Presstek Annual Report can be viewed online at www.presstek.com/profiles. Presstek's Chief Financial Officer, Moosa E. Moosa, said, "Presstek is honored to have received these awards. The team worked hard to deliver the best possible product, and we used our own technology to produce the color pages and cover of the report. Recognition by American Business Communicators validates the quality that our products and our customers deliver to the marketplace, and the excellence of our Marketing and Investor Relations team." The Presstek Annual Report was a collaborative effort between Presstek; Paxton Communications of Concord NH, for the photography and graphic design; and Sherburne & Associates of Greenland NH, for development of written content. The cover was produced at Presstek on a Presstek-enabled Ryobi 3404 DI direct imaging press. The company utilized a Presstek Dimension Series Computer-to-Plate customer, AM Print of Holliston MA, to produce the four- color content internal to the report, and Bowne of Boston printed the financial pages.
