At this year’s Graphics of the Americas Show in Miami, Florida (March 1-3), Goss International will be exhibiting together with Shanghai Electric Printing and Packaging Machinery Group. As well as presenting the latest in Goss web offset press technologies suited to the American markets, the 1200 square-foot booth will showcase converting solutions including specialized equipment for paper bag production.

Goss International will highlight the enabling technologies and press models which are fundamental to its leadership position in North and Latin American newspaper, semi-commercial and commercial sectors. These include Goss M-500, M-600 and Sunday commercial presses as well as Community SSC, Magnum, Universal and Uniliner newspaper presses and Pacesetter saddlestitchers.

As part of the Goss exhibit, there will also be updated information and technical details on Akiyama sheetfed presses and some of the company’s newest product offerings for worldwide markets. These include a new compact newspaper press, the Colorliner CPS, and the Sunday Vpak variable repeat packaging press models, as well as new high-speed single-wide newspaper press developments.

The Shanghai Electric portion of the booth will feature demonstrations of the ZB1100B paper bag forming machine and ZB50B paper bag bottom gluing machine.

The ZB1100B paper bag forming machine is designed to provide a wider range of application and configuration options as well as a higher quality of paper bags for the competitive consumer market. It features automatic paper feeding, aligning, gluing and pressing, via touchscreen operation, saving up to three hours a day. Its ability to handle different types of special and laminated paper, as well as an enhanced pre-stack paper feeder offers the flexibility to suit a diversity of business models.

Key features of the ZB50B paper bag bottom gluing machine include high speed, high accuracy and functionality engineered to reduce set-up and production time as well as waste.

Goss and Shanghai Electric representatives will also be available to discuss the full portfolio of web offset press equipment, finishing solutions and Lifetime Support initiatives as well as specialist converting machines such as rigid box making, case making, automatic sewing and automatic die cutting machines.
