NAK Marketing Communications Becomes Full-Fledged Member Of The Print Council

Press release from the issuing company

WASHINGTON, DC, September 3, 2008 – One of the original Associate Members of The Print Council has moved up to become a full-fledged member of the growing business alliance, which is devoted to promoting the increased and more effective use of printing.

NAK Marketing Communications, an Associate Member of The Print Council since its founding in 2003, becomes the 32nd member company.  The integrated marketing group joins an elite list of members that includes leading printing companies, technology suppliers, consumables manufacturers and distributors, and a host of PR and advertising agencies.

NAK’s latest advance comes in recognition of its increasing creative contributions to The Print Council. The marketing communications firm wrote, designed and produced the council’s signature publication, Why Print? The 16-page booklet provides a multitude of answers in the form of 10 reasons why print is vital to the success of any marketing campaign.

NAK also developed The Print Council’s advertising campaign directed at media decision-makers. The ad series positions print as the “multi-medium,” capable of persuading a marketer’s audience on several levels simultaneously.

More recently, NAK crafted an integrated marketing campaign for The Print Council, designed to attract new members to the Association. It includes a multipart advertising campaign and two distinct membership guide books, each directed at a different segment of the communications industry.

Ben Cooper, Executive Director of The Print Council, noted that most of NAK’s work on behalf of the Council was provided free of charge. “NAK continues to be very generous to us. In addition to creating our ad campaigns and our publications, NAK participates in our public relations programs, developing and distributing releases on behalf of The Print Council,” he said. “ I am pleased to welcome such a creative and accessible company to full member status.”

Thaddeus B. Kubis, President of NAK, pointed out that his company has focused on the power of integrated marketing since its founding three decades ago.  “That’s what makes NAK such a perfect fit for The Print Council,” he said. “We know how to integrate printing into the marketing mix because we been doing it creatively for almost 30 years. We know how effective print can be, because we know how to make it work.”
