Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Allegra Network LLC, one of the world’s leading marketing, print, sign and graphic communications franchisors, announced today that Vice President of Marketing Jessica Eng will co-present a seminar on strategies for selling to the non-profit market at the PODi Application Forum taking place Jan. 23-25, 2012 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.

Teaming-up with Digital Innovations Group President Kate Dunn, the presentation will teach business owners, top-level managers and salespeople how to break into the non-profit market and develop win-win solutions.

“From recruiting volunteers to encouraging donations, strategic communications to constituents is a vital component to the success of all non-profits,” said Eng. “This presents a tremendous opportunity for today’s marketing and print professionals who are looking to expand their clientele within the non-profit marketplace. Participants of the seminar will get an insider look at best practices and success stories from the Allegra Network franchise system.”

Part of the conference’s Business Growth Strategies Track seminars, the session will address the following points:

  • Why a community involvement program is a great way to build awareness and position a business as the “go to” resource for non-profit organizations;
  • How other print/marketing services providers successfully generate leads and new business from their goodwill efforts; and
  • Best practices that small businesses can apply when implementing a nonprofit program.

Eng is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all marketing, communications and public relations initiatives for the 300-plus franchise member system at Allegra Network. Working with members on marketing planning and ways to best grow their business, Eng is involved in marketing research, hands-on training, direct marketing programs, social networking, web marketing, community involvement, public relations, email marketing and more. She focuses on helping members integrate traditional channels with new media to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive results. A key player on the management team who plays an integral role in the developing the strategic vision and direction of the brand, Eng has her MBA in marketing management and is involved with the International Association of Business Communicators and Direct Marketing Association.
