Now Accepting Nominations for InterTech Technology Awards

Press release from the issuing company

Printing Industries of America is now accepting nominations for the 2012 InterTech™ Technology Awards. These awards honor the development of technologies predicted to have a major impact on the graphic communications and related industries.

About 250 technologies have received InterTech Awards since the award was introduced in 1978. Technologies have been singled out in almost all aspects of graphic communications business and production from management information software and workflow systems to press consumables and digital printing systems. More than 80-percent of the technologies honored have experienced commercial success in the marketplace. Recipients are chosen by an independent panel of judges made up of experienced print professionals with expertise in a variety of areas.

Recipients of the InterTech award have their technology showcased in publications and emails that reach more than 50,000 graphic communication companies around the world. Additionally, recipients receive an InterTech Lucite Star--a recognized icon of innovation--and permission to use the InterTech logo in connection with their technology.

Entries will be accepted online to streamline the nomination process. Vendors can submit all necessary information at www.printing.org/intertechentries. The deadline for entry is June 8, 2012, but those entering by March 31, 2012, will receive a $500 discount on their entry fee.
