Pageflex, a division of Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS, www.bitstream.com) and a leading supplier of marketing and printing automation solutions today announced details of its expansion in Europe, including the addition of new staff, expanded relationships with resellers, and plans to exhibit at drupa 2012.

Personnel

Pageflex recently filled two new positions that were created to better support the sales from OEM partners and resellers  in the European region.

First, Pageflex has appointed Egon Donia Nota as VP of Sales / Distributors & OEM Channels in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).  Based in Amsterdam, Egon will be responsible for managing all sales throughout the EMEA region. Prior to joining Pageflex, Egon led the sales and distribution activities of many successful companies in Europe, including roles as Sales Manager EMEA Photo / Graphics Professional Printing Division at Gretag / Cymbolic Sciences and Division Manager for Enterprise Solutions Europe at Bell Microproducts. 

Also new to the organization is Gerry Michaeli, Director of Channel Sales, EMEA. Gerry works with Pageflex resellers throughout the EMEA region, and  brings over twelve years of experience in sales, business development and product management to his role. Prior to joining Pageflex, Gerry was Director of Sales at Ray Networks, and had also led a sales and business development consulting company.  Gerry has also held roles as a senior sales and business development manager at Giant Steps, a software development company focused on the telecom/mobile industry.

Jan Denies has been hired in the new role of Manager Xerox Channels Europe, Middle East & Africa.  Prior to joining Pageflex, Jan was Product Development and Global Partnerships Manager at Unibind, a worldwide provider of binding systems and accessories. 

Resellers

Pageflex has expanded its relationship with resellers located throughout Europe. These resellers, along with our OEM partners, will be responsible for the sales and support Pageflex products in the European region:

• Since 2004, ROI360 Software Distribution has been the principal Pageflex reseller in the UK, distributing Pageflex Storefront, Pageflex Server, and Pageflex Campaign Manager. Building on the success of that relationship, Pageflex and ROI have now entered into a Master Reseller Agreement, adding Pageflex iWay to the of Pageflex products represented by ROI.

• In Germany, Konzept-iX has also been given Master Reseller Status by Pageflex. Konzept-iX has successfully represented Pageflex since 2000, selling Pageflex Storefront, Pageflex Server, and Pageflex Campaign Manager through Germany. Konzept will add  Pageflex iWay to the list of products it represents.

• Reseller VBS has successfully distributed iWay technology since 2001 and will now be representing the entire Pageflex product line in the Nordic Region, including Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark . VBS is a 24 year old company based in Stockholm Sweden, specializing in solutions within web to print, cross media, MIS and photo book production.

Events

At drupa 2012, Pageflex and its team of European resellers will be showcasing Pageflex leading edge web-to-print and marketing automation solutions. Highlights of drupa will include new features designed to meet the needs of an international marketplace.
