It has just become less expensive to print on extremely heavy stock media. The new Intec XP2020 extreme heavy stock color digital printer can handle media up to 600 gsm and 600 micron as well as being up to 20 per cent cheaper to run than the Intec CP2020.
 
Manufactured in a carbon neutral environment in the UK, the Intec XP2020 print engine forms the foundation of an entirely new range of extreme heavy stock color digital print systems. The new XP2020 range features the Intec PFS250, MMC350, DMP450, DMP450LF and HPP550. All use the new XP2020 print engine, adding further dimensions of capability and cost effectiveness, which respond to customers’ needs in the current difficult trading environment.
 
The XP2020 has automatic two sided printing, a hard drive and 1GB RAM as standard together with a genuine Adobe® PostScript® RIP. In addition every XP2020 comes with a full-set of cost-saving high-capacity toners producing 18,500 mono prints and 16,500 color pages as standard.
 
In conclusion, there is now a family of Intec digital printers: the CP2020 is an affordable range suitable for shorter run printing while the XP2020 line-up is capable of tackling larger print runs and lower running costs.
