Your Town Press, Inc., an established commercial printer in Salem, Oregon recently installed a complete X-Book short-and-medium-run hard cover finishing system from Zechini.  Your Town Press has been moving into book production over the past few years.  Dennis Scott, Your Town's General Manager, has reached out to the self-publishing segment.  Dennis has made valuable contacts within various specialty publishing sectors, and has enabled several self-publishing authors to print and sell respectable quantities of books.

Recently, Your Town made the decision to bring a sizeable hard cover run "in house".   After seeing the Zechini X-Book system on the web, they traveled to Graph Expo in September for a hands on session with the entire system.  Impressed by the systems flexibility and quality-build, Your Town ordered the system, which was installed in the Salem plant in November.  

Dennis Scott, Your Town's General Manager said;  "We were impressed by the overall quality and features of the X-Book system.  This will give us the capacity to produce complete hard cover titles in house"  We're already getting inquiries for short-run production from as far away as New York".

During the install, Charles "Chuck" Toll and his staff treated Valter Mulazzani of Zechini and myself to (what else?) an Italian dinner!

The X-book System takes little floor space, and operators can be quickly trained on each module.
