KBA-MetroPrint Becomes KBA-MePrint

Press release from the issuing company

On 1 January 2012 KBA-MetroPrint AG in Veitshöchheim, a subsidiary of German press manufacturer Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) in nearby Würzburg, is changing its name to KBA-MePrint AG to avoid confusion with a major retailing group. The company headed by CEO Holger Volpert (47) builds UV offset systems for printing plastic cards, film and electronic data storage media.

KBA-MePrint subsidiary KBA-Metronic GmbH, which specialises in industrial marking and coding systems, will retain its present name, and there will no changes in the structure of the two firms.
