PRPflexo introduces FX ExSpect Printing Plates

Press release from the issuing company

PRPflexo a prepress services and flexographic printing plate provider based in Indianapolis announced they have developed FX ExSpect®, their flat-top-dot plate technology to maximize print quality on flexible packaging

PRPflexo, first to market with flat-top dot plate technology back in 2004, continues its long history of plate-making innovations with the successful application of the ExSpect® process for printing on flexible packaging.

FX ExSpect® is the fourth installment in their suite of plate solutions, delivering

better ink transfer and solid density, while reducing excessive dot gain, keeping halftones open and detail at its maximum, Chris Green, General Manager of PRPflexo explains.

“We knew that we had winning products with our previous plate solutions, but also recognized very early on that one size does NOT fit all, and that to accommodate all of the variables with printing on different substrates with different ink sets, your plates had to be different too.

“After analyzing the plate options and results for this market, we recognized that many printers do not want to be restricted by size or plate materials. They simply want more options for delivering better solids and reduced dot-gain, with the freedom to work with whatever material they choose. By combining the unique benefits of our patent-pending Digital ExSpect® plate along with an engineered plate surface texture, we have been able to deliver just that, along with the freedom to work with any material available”
