Kern appoints new service manager

Press release from the issuing company

Kern is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Loughlin to the newly created role of Service Manager, in a move which will see the company expand its offerings and strengthen its position in the service market.

Loughlin will develop new business across all three of Kern's divisions in the UK – mailing, packaging and print – and will work in close conjunction with the Area Service Managers and sales teams.

The new structure will support a change in Kern's strategy which sees the company expand service contracts to cover products from most manufacturers.

"Kern is proud of the service we offer to our customers, we see this move as the next step on a continued expansion programme" said Loughlin.

"We have a talented team of engineers available 24/7 and offer tailor made contracts to suit the needs of individual customers with absolutely no hidden costs.  Feedback from our clients is that we provide a refreshingly transparent service."

Mark has worked for Kern for over 20 years, starting off his career as an engineer.
