New Standard Finishing Document Finisher Is On The Horizon

Press release from the issuing company

(Andover, MA) – At Xplor, October 27th – 29th in Atlanta, Standard Finishing Systems, Horizon International, and Xerox will be showing the recently released Standard Horizon ColorWorks 2000, an innovative all-in-one document finisher designed exclusively for operation in-line to the Xerox DocuColor Series Digital Color Presses, including the recently released 5252. The product of a close engineering alliance between Horizon International and Xerox Corporation, the ColorWorks 2000 has been designed from the ground up to meet the unique requirements of in-line digital color document production. Professional-quality document production is managed through an icon-based touch screen, for quick, easy and accurate set-ups. Edge-to-edge full color bleeds are made possible with rotary head and foot trimming of posters, brochures, or booklets. And in-line scoring helps improve fold quality and avoid image-cracking induced by cross-grain stock. The compact ColorWorks system performs corner, side and center-stapling functions, with booklet folding and face trimming. Finished booklets are delivered to an integrated vertical stacker for convenience and space efficiency, while flat sheets are delivered to an offsetting catch tray. The Horizon CW-2000 brings new finishing functionality to the Xerox DocuColor 2045, 2060, 5252, and 6060 and opens up a range of applications for new and existing customers.
