Boathouse Capital Invests $5.5 million in the Management Buyout of Colortree Group, Inc.

Boathouse Capital, a middle market mezzanine debt and equity investment fund located in suburban Philadelphia, is pleased to announce the funding of a new portfolio company, Colortree Group, Inc. ("Colortree") on September 30, 2011.   
 
Boathouse Capital invested $5.5 million in subordinated debt and equity along with capital from Colortree CEO Pat Patterson in support of a management buyout from Colortree's founders.
 
Established in 1988 and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, Colortree is one of the leading suppliers of high definition color envelopes and direct marketing materials for the not-for-profit industry on the East Coast. With state of the art equipment and world class talent and expertise, Colortree provides its customers with lithographically printed full-color direct mail envelopes, fliers, brochures, letters and self-mailers as well as having mail shop capabilities. http://www.colortree.com.
 
Colortree Group was formed through the merger of Colortree, Inc. of Virginia and Graphic Innovations, LLC. Colortree's new partnership with Boathouse Capital will enable growth through acquisitions and provide the company access to further capital for investments in equipment and talent base.
 
Dominion Partners advised the sellers and Bank of America provided senior debt for the transaction.
