The membership of Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica has elected the organization’s officers for the 2012 year. These volunteer leaders will serve a one-year term and represent a broad cross section of the industry.

The top elected position will be held by David Reid who will serve as the Chairman of the Board. Reid is the president of Vox Printing headquartered in Oklahoma City. The company produces tray liners, kids’ menus, coupons and other marketing materials for the restaurant industry, as well as operating a full service folding carton plant with a wide variety of capabilities. Vox Printing has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma for the past 5 years and as one of the Best of the Best Places to work by the Printing Industries of America the past 4 years.

Greg Wood will serve as the Association’s Vice Chairman. Greg is the president of Image Reproductions in Irving, Texas. Wood’s company employs 14 and is a digital print specialist with high-end color and wide format capabilities producing a broad range of short-run products including posters, banners, and trade show graphics.

The Association’s 2^nd Vice Chairman position will be held by Phil Roach with MailMax Direct, located in Waco, Texas. Phil is Director of Sales for one of Central Texas’ largest mailing and commercial printing companies, which also has a specialty in transactional printing.

Three other individuals will serve as Association officers. Steve Cartwright, with Hudson Printing & Graphics from Longview, Texas will serve as Immediate Past Chairman. Doug Heyerdahl, CFO for Blanks Printing and Imaging in Dallas, Texas will serve as the Association’s Treasurer, and Dee Bisel, with Minuteman Press in Lawrence, Kansas, Texas will serve as the Association’s Secretary.

The board of directors is comprised of men and women serving a two-year term and represent various regions. The 2012 board of directors will include: Kevin Cassis, TWG Plus, Austin, TX; John Cockrell, Jr., Cockrell Enovation, Fort Worth, TX; Brad Elledge, NOSCO, Carrollton, TX; Evan James, James Printing Co., North Kansas City, MO; Mike Magerl, Trabon Companies, Kansas City, MO; Debi Messer, Spartan Printing, Arlington, TX; Gary Newman, Whitney-Russell Printers, Amarillo, TX; Lee Ann Packard, Marfield Corporate Stationery, Carrollton, TX; Joe Ryan, BRW Paper, Carrollton, TX; Hal Salisbury, Oklahoma Offset, Tulsa, OK; Mike Stevens, Action Printing, Lubbock , TX; Patrick Tuttle, ADR Bookprint, Wichita, KS; Tom Vaello, Right Images, San Antonio, TX and Michael Wurst, with Henry Wurst, serves as an ex-officio member and also serves as Treasurer of the Printing Industries of America.
