Harrier LLC Use Taopix to Partner with Saga in Photo Gift Venture

Press release from the issuing company

Devon-based photo gift manufacturer, Harrier LLC, has formed a partnership with Saga, the over 50s holiday and insurance specialists, to offer a wide range of photo gift products to their extensive customer base. Saga customers will be able to choose from an array of photo-rich products ranging from mugs to photo books.

Harrier (part of District Photo Inc) have deployed Taopix Photobook software, via the Saga website, to deliver the Mac and PC Designer software to Saga customers. All photo book and calendar pages are printed on Harrier’s range of seven HP Indigo digital presses with finishing carried out in-house.

Harrier have put together a bespoke package based on Saga’s requirements to offer their customers special deals and Saga will take a revenue share in return for their marketing activity. Saga is using multi-channel marketing to inform its customer base of this new service.

Comments Julian Marsh, Photo Products & Business Development Consultant for Harrier “We believe that the demographic of Saga’s customers provides a great opportunity for the sale of photo products. We’ve used the Taopix platform to develop a great application that is branded for Saga throughout, from the desktop icon to the shopping cart so their customers feel comfortable dealing with a brand they know.”

“In just a couple of months, we’ve produced around 1,700 photo books and other gifts for Saga as part of a promotional launch of the service.”

Marsh plans to bring future partners on board. “We are working on a number of prospects at the moment, including traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ establishments as well as online retailers. We are also talking to a number of ‘specialist’ partner prospects.”
