Pitney Bowes and Promail Celebrate Successful Start to Partnership

Press release from the issuing company

Pitney Bowes and Promail have revealed the success of the first months of their collaboration.

The two companies began working together earlier this year, when it was announced that they would co-operate to sell the DPS 100 inserter into the UK direct mail market.

Pitney Bowes and Promail have since celebrated their first sale to ID Data Cards. The company purchased the machine to meet increasing demand for its plastic card fulfilment solutions. The DPS 100 can process up to 16,000 DL envelopes per hour and replaces three machines which were previously used for the same task.

A DPS 100 machine is currently on display at Promail’s Brackley showroom.

Pitney Bowes and Promail are now looking at how the relationship will grow in the future and are considering extending the partnership to include other products.

Daran Hanson, Sales and Marketing Director, Promail, says, “The relatively short time period that it has taken for our first joint sale is indicative of the success of the partnership. At Promail, we believe that the DPS 100 is a very competitively priced machine given its exceptional speed. We are delighted to combine our experience with that of Pitney Bowes to deliver this technology to the direct mail market.

John Ricketts, Sales Director UK & Ireland, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies adds, “We are delighted at the success of the relationship and the first sale to ID Data Cards. We have several other enquiries underway and are sure that this partnership will continue to evolve.”
