Coral Color Process Acquires Mitsubishi Diamond V3000LX

Press release from the issuing company

Coral Color Process, Ltd., an award-winning commercial printer and longtime user of Mitsubishi sheetfed presses, has purchased a Diamond V3000LX with inline ultraviolet (UV) coating capabilities. The six-color press will join an existing fleet of 28-3/8 x 40-1/8-inch Mitsubishi presses at Coral Color’s full-service printing facility in Commack, N.Y.

To meet the demand for interesting, unique printed pieces, Coral Color currently operates an eight-color and two six-color Mitsubishi presses, all equipped with aqueous coating units. The Diamond V3000LX is designed to offer customers a wider product line and open up more markets. The Diamond V3000LX handles a maximum sheet size of 29-1/2 x 41-11/32 inches. In addition to the larger sheet size, the press accommodates a wider stock thickness range, including packaging board and plastics up to 0.040 inches.

Coral Color serves the diverse printing needs of corporate clients, non-profits, manufacturers, ad agencies and design studios. Its high-end commercial printing runs the gamut from direct marketing materials and annual reports to point-of-purchase displays and packaging.

Coral Color’s printing has been recognized as among the best in the industry. Most recently, the company added a prestigious Gold Award in the annual Sappi North American Printers of the Year Competition for 2010 and a Bronze Award for 2011 to its list of industry accolades.
