Axode receives the 2011 ‘Embedded Systems Award’

Press release from the issuing company

In the framework of the fourth French–German conference on embedded digital systems, the French Department of Competitiveness of Industry and Services (DGCIS), the digital trade association Syntec Numérique and the government-funded programme Cap’Tronic presented 15 innovative projects that were nominated for this event.

What are the Embedded Systems Awards?

This competition is open to companies that have developed and implemented one or more embedded systems that include a predominant and particularly innovative software component in the context of a project that has been finalized during the preceding two years. The jury gives particular attention to projects that contribute to sustainable development.

An innovative solution for maximum productivity designed by Axode

Axode has developed a print verification system that checks, in real time, the print quality of color documents printed on continuous paper at very high speed (2000 feet per minute).

Axode developed this innovative solution in partnership with Kodak USA and GSS/Adphos USA to allow offset printers to add personalization to their standard presses thanks to color ink jet heads, without slowing down production speed.

Since its international launch at the Graph Expo show in Chicago in September, this print solution has enjoyed resounding success. At that event, the US Commerce Association (USCA) presented Axode with the 2011 ‘Best of Chicago’ award for the third consecutive year.
