GFI Innovations hiring veterans to assemble Mx-Series dispensers

Press release from the issuing company

GFI Innovations has started to hire assembly workers from the VA (U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs) who have served in the armed forces and are in need of work.

“We’re fortunate to be growing as an American manufacturer in the printing industry, and are honored to put good people to work who have done a lot for our country,” says Robert Luehrsen, President of GFI Innovations.

“It’s good to be working again. People here are nice and it’s a good environment. They could use a bigger swimming pool, but I’ll manage,” says Ricky Walker, who served for 8 years in the U.S. Army.

According to their website, the VA maintains 804 Community-based Outpatient Clinics, 280 Vet Centers, 152 Hospitals, 131 cemeteries, 58 Administration buildings, and provides service to more than 22 million veterans.

GFI Innovations’ award winning Mx-Series dispensing equipment gives printers the ability to manufacture ink on their pressroom floors, faster and more consistently than manual methods. Current clients have successfully recycled thousands of pounds of old ink into new colors, and have accumulated millions of dollars in ink savings through a more efficient procurement process.
