Press release from the issuing company

Scott Fresener, developer of the popular FastFilms and T-Seps color separation software has announced an upgrade to his popular T-RIP film output software. T-RIP - which is the next generation of FastRIP now supports printing black ink from all ink slots for increased speed and less ink waste. T-RIP also now includes the latest drivers for almost every model of Epson inkjet printers and is easier to install and operate.

With T-RIP you can use an inexpensive inkjet printer like the Epson 1400 to print imagesetter quality film positives for screen making. T-RIP creates halftone dots, controls the ink density on a wide variety of inkjet films, and offers a complete workflow for outputting films. It works as a print driver for any version of Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. And T-RIP works on the latest Windows 7 computers. Although it is not a MAC application, you can run T-RIP on a MAC under Windows emulation.

According to Fresener "Screen printers who change from vellum output to inkjet film output report a huge difference in the quality of their screens. Images are crisp and clean, and because inkjets print in perfect registration jobs lineup at press. They find a labor savings and quality improvement when they switch to inkjet with a RIP."  Fresener also states "if you have my popular FastRIP and have upgraded to a new computer system you can upgrade from FastRIP to T-RIP."
