e-LYNXX Corporation Honored With Green Supply Chain Award

Press release from the issuing company

Editors at Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine have chosen e-LYNXX Corporation for the second consecutive year to receive its Green Supply Chain Award – an annual recognition of companies that encourage environmentally friendly business practices.

“The Green Supply Chain Awards recognize providers of supply chain solutions and services that are assisting their customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals,” said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive.  “Companies that are making green or sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy also are recognized in the areas of sourcing/procurement, fulfillment/logistics, operations, product lifecycle management, and other areas of the supply chain. A complete list of recipients is published in the magazine's November/December issue.”

"We take pride in providing organizations with a predictable and efficient way of identifying ‘green’ vendors that will reduce costs for procured goods and services by 25% to 50%," said William Gindlesperger, chief executive officer of e-LYNXX Corporation.  "Use of our patented AVS Technology® by a broad range of businesses and nonprofits demonstrates its adaptability and appeal. Our clients are averaging 42% savings on creative services, direct mail, marketing materials, publications, labels, packaging, commercial print, temp services, and a host of other print and non-print categories.  In addition to reduced costs for procured goods and services, the procuring organization gains transparency, accountability, quality control, documentation and archiving. e-LYNXX is not a broker or a printer and works with its customers as an extension to their own procurement activities.”

AVS Technology®, when used with e-LYNXX’s best procurement practices and communications and workflow system, creates a competitive bidding environment for only vendors capable of doing a particular job. If the job specifications call for only green vendors to be considered for competitive bidding, that is what will occur. Quality and on-time delivery are assured because each vendor in the buyer’s database of vendors is prequalified based on strict qualification standards before the automated vendor selection process is begun.
