Taopix Announces New Taopix Portfolio to Drive Volume

Tuesday, November 08, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

Photo book and gift software manufacturer, Taopix, today announced its new platform, Taopix Portfolio, a suite of three solutions intended to drive more volume through digital presses and silver halide machines.
Taopix Portfolio is available in three business models; Solo, Professional and Enterprise. Each has been tailored to accommodate specific needs for most business sizes, budgets and applications.
The latest release is the culmination of over 2 years development work, more than 20,000 man hours, 250 enhancements, 250,000+ lines of new code and has resulted in an entire application of which more than 50% consists of new features.
Says James Gray, Taopix CEO “It’s a very exciting time for Taopix and our customers. We’ve taken so much feedback from our customer base and also their customers and many of their enhancement and feature requests have been incorporated into this new release.”
“Our primary goal was to focus on three areas; how can we make it easier to create a book and order, how can we drive volume and how can we bring increased profit to each job? These questions were the motivating factors that lead us to create the impressive array of modules that feature across the Taopix Portfolio range.”
Making it easier…
InstallerMaker – simplifies the software installation process so users can get started with their Designer software quickly; Designer Product Selection Process - a new user interface with timeline and breadcrumb trail to help the user start their project; PhotoFix - for instant picture enhancement; Autoflow - to automatically import photos into pages; Wizard and Assistant - for speedy help for beginners.  All of these modules are designed to facilitate the creation and ordering process so customers can maximize orders.
Volume drivers…
With the Social Sharing module, users can access even more photos via Facebook and Flickr, so more photos mean more photo gift orders; Library Link allows access to stock photography and asset management systems; Offline Order captures customer orders when no internet service is available; Send to a Friend feature, the amazing viral tool with page turning technology to encourage family and friends to order too.
Profit accelerators…
Profit+, based on Smart Dynamic Template technology that prompts the end user to upgrade to larger sizes or higher quality covers or media; Shopping Centre, a fully featured engine that allows customers to increase profit margins at check-out stage – using the unlimited flexible component feature, items such as ribbons, boxes, end-papers, hot foil and many others can easily be added as upsell opportunities.
The software will be available in all 19 languages during Q4 2011. Please visit wwww.taopix.com for more information.
