Vision 3 Summit Registration Now Open

Press release from the issuing company

The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL); NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES); and, Printing Industries of America have joined forces to co-sponsor the second annual Vision 3 Summit, the premier executive leadership conference for the graphic communications industry, slated for February 19-22, 2012 at the Marco Island Marriott in Marco Island, Florida.

This year's event, themed "Focus Your Vision on Transformation and Growth," blends again the unique strengths of the three organizations to provide a single, authoritative conference designed to address the needs of company owners and executives.  Welcoming both service providers and vendors, registration for the Vision 3 Summit is now open online at: www.vision3summit.org.

With a distinctly management-level approach, the Vision 3 Summit will provide key information, from the standpoint of what matters most, to support industry executives in effective strategic decision-making.

"Graphic communication executives are hungry for information on how to improve profitability, particularly as they wrestle with the rise of globalization of the economy and mobile and social media marketing," said Michael Makin, President and CEO of Printing Industries of America. "The Vision 3 Summit's scope and depth of topics will provide them with an arsenal of tools to consider as they look to transform or enhance their business operations."

Unlike other industry conferences, the Vision 3 Summit centers around a problem-solving approach to critical management issues specific to leaders in the graphic communications industry.  This year's compelling programming will address, in a variety of formats: current and emerging trends; the latest market research; the impact of e-technologies on print; the national and global economy; sales force management; keys to customer loyalty; and, political issues likely to have the greatest potential impact on the industry.  From nationally-known headliners, to industry insider panel discussions; to a mix of concurrent hot-topic sessions-and the new-for-2012 Peer Exchange Roundtable Forum-participants will gain the latest business intelligence necessary for leading a progressive graphic communications business today.

"In the current economic, political, and market landscape, easily described as volatile, specifying where to direct one's marketing, sales, and technological investments is of paramount importance," observes Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D., President and CEO of NAPL. "Key for graphic communication service providers, is having access to accurate and meaningful research and data, a hallmark of this year's sessions."

Among the conference's line-up of three distinguished keynoters set to educate, inspire, provoke and entertain attendees are:

* Dr. Jeffrey Rosensweig, Director of the Global Perspectives Program, Emory University, and author of the critically-acclaimed "Winning the Global Game: A Strategy for Linking People and Profits," on "The Global Economy-Opportunities and Challenges;"

* Charlie Cook, Washington, D. C. insider and publisher of The Cook Political Report, who will present a "Pundit's Perspective: Inside the 2012 Elections;" and,

* Scott McKain, Vice Chairman, Obsidian Enterprises, Co-founder of The Value Added Institute, and best-selling author of "What Customers REALLY Want," on "Delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience."

A variety of other compelling sessions will cover the breadth of graphic communication management concerns-from new media marketing methods and sales programs, and transforming your business for print profitability, to "hot" markets for future growth.  Additionally, presentations of PRIMIR market research studies will reveal the "Evolution of the Commercial Printer" and "Impact of Electronic Technologies on Print."

"Making informed business decisions during a time of great change can be challenging for business leaders, and given the complexity of today's economic and business climate, this is truer than ever," explained Ralph J. Nappi, President of NPES. "The Vision 3 Summit is designed to provide graphic communications executives with all the information they need, both a 'big picture' overview and practical tactical information to make informed decisions that will not only sustain their business but be best positioned to take advantage of new profit opportunities."

Valued as much for its networking opportunities as for its high caliber presentations, the Vision 3 Summit brings together-in one place, at one time-top executives from among the industry's leading graphic communications service providers and vendors into an environment that fosters open dialogue and straightforward discussion.  And, for all attendees, spouses and guests, a number of receptions and recreational outings will also be available.
