Bindagraphics Acquires 40" Spot UV Press

Friday, November 04, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

Bindagraphics, a leading trade bindery, finishing and packaging company, recently installed a new Sakurai MS102A2 Silk Screen Press.
The Sakurai MS102A2 allows for gloss, soft and textured spot UV and cycles at 4,000 sheets per hour. It accommodates up to a 29” X 41” sheet size and down to a 12” X 16” sheet, includes a crush roller feature, which produces a mirror finish regardless of the substrate condition, and the line is raised to match offset presses load for load.
Matt Anson, President of Bindagraphics, remarks “We are thrilled to offer our customers these new finishing options -- spot UV, raised/thick UV, glitter and textured UV-- all on a 40” sheet. Running two production shifts on this machine will allow our customers to meet tight turnarounds and hopefully win more work.”
