EPMS Creates Tech Talk Series Of Educational Videos

Press release from the issuing company

Enterprise Print Management Solutions (EPMS) a leading developer of print MIS, has announced the release of a series of free educational videos designed to help its clients use their Enterprise print management system more efficiently. The videos are accessible via the EPMS website, and the on-line support site, making them readily available whenever a client wants to review a particular subject or function related to the system. There are four types of videos under the Tech Talk umbrella. The Customer Spotlight series highlights interviews with EPMS clients who share some of the ways in which they use the Enterprise management system. Vendor Spotlight videos are focused on interviews with EPMS integration partners who discuss how their products and Enterprise interact to streamline workflow for clients. The General Subject videos consist of a series of discussions between EPMS staff, and are focused on broad areas of interest, such as the importance of training, or the tasks related to implementing a management system. The Subject Specific videos focus on providing information or help for particular aspects of the Enterprise system, such as “How to Create a Template”, “How to Do a Database Backup”, or “How to Utilize Diary Notes” .

“We believe that training for a print management system must be an on-going process and we created the Tech Talk Video series as a means of continually supporting the initial training that our clients receive. It’s common for printing companies to implement a print management system and then not provide refresher training or update training for their staffs. Enterprise is a feature rich and very robust print management system and we are making every effort to make sure that our clients are aware of and are using new features and functionalities. The Tech Talk videos are one way of doing that, and we plan to release a significant number of them over the next year,” said Craig Andersen, Executive VP of EPMS.

Mark Andersen, President of EPMS concurred.

“Our products are constantly evolving and adapting to changing market dynamics. Our annual upgrades often include hundreds of functional enhancements and we want to make sure that our clients have the opportunity to get information on areas of specific interest to them. Information is a powerful tool, and our goal is to provide as much of it to our clients as we can. We have been monitoring the number of “hits” to the Tech Talk series, as well as hearing from clients that they have been viewing the videos , so we know that these videos are providing a needed service to our user community,” he said.
