Dynagram Raises the Bar with New DynaStrip 7.0

Press release from the issuing company

Dynagram, the company that makes your workflowTM, once again raises the bar and saves production professionals more money - with new DynaStrip 7. The worldwide industry leader in imposition solutions delivers productivity increases in this major upgrade to its flagship imposition product. DynaStrip 7 features even smarter Layout Reflow, quick access to object libraries and templates, new options for marks and Automation, single job working files, and more.

Increased ease in starting a new DynaStrip job from a template, coupled with a more advanced Layout Reflow function, truly empowers operators with a quick, robust and versatile prepress production tool.

DynaStrip 7.0 is available immediately for download from the Dynagram website.

"We wanted to add additional value to this mature product, and we succeeded with the development of new productivity-oriented tools," said François Guérard, CEO of Dynagram. "Current users will be astonished to find in DynaStrip 7 the same software they know and like, enhanced with simple functions that require very minimal training but offer the greatest efficiency, a major concern of today's printers."

Smarter Layout Reflow
Layout Reflow in DynaStrip 7 utilizes the application's advancements to offer operators more dynamic behaviors for imposition objects and marks. For example, sheets can be resized at will, while keeping the same relative signature position in the center, or snapped to the gripper. All marks, including color bars, also keep their intended size and position with DynaStrip 7's auto-detection ability, which allows it to "memorize" anchor points relative to the sheet, signature, or page to which they were linked. When an object is moved or resized, the marks follow, every time.

Layout Reflow also reads and then employs a document's number of pages and trim box information, including all changes made to the initial layout, to generate the entire job layout based on new production data. The same base template can thus be used repeatedly, to build a complete imposition job with a single click.

DynaStrip 7 also features convenient pulldown menus for rapid access to all object libraries and sheet templates, directly from the light table main interface.
