RTI to enter North American display graphics arena

Press release from the issuing company

Following a successful European launch earlier this year, Reprographic Technology International (RTI) will enter into the North American display graphics arena at the SGIA Expo 2011 in New Orleans on October 19-21. RTI is a leading alternative supplier of OEM and compatible parts and consumables in both the digital production print and wide format plan print marketplaces. They enter into the display graphics print sector through their newly formed ColorMatch graphics product division and a new web site - colormatchink.com.

RTI chose to bring their 20+ years of experience to display graphics customers after seeing large projected year-on-year growth in the marketplace. They also recognized that the traditionally disparate markets of “repro” and “signage” are coming together, creating the perfect opportunity for their business to expand.

The ColorMatch division will bring to RTI’s sign and display customers the same high level of service and support that their production print customers have enjoyed for years. RTI is proud to be one of the few ISO 9001-2008 vendors to stock a broad range of OEM and compatible inks, toners, and consumables for aqueous-, solvent-, and toner-based digital printers. They maintain inventories in all three of their North American warehouses, and have access to a broad range of UV-Curable inks and display graphics media through their warehouse in the United Kingdom.

Erik Norman, VP of Sales and Marketing, said, “We observed a recent trend of our conventional reprographic customers searching for higher profits by getting into the display graphics market. We decided to follow suit. We started with the highly successful launch of our ColorMatch products in the UK marketplace earlier this year.  We are now very excited to be rolling this out in North America where we expect even greater success. Our vision as a company is to be the preferred choice for supplies and parts across all digital print sectors.”

North American printers and supplies resellers can meet the ColorMatch team at SGIA booth #2650 to learn more about their products and reseller programs. “We will continue to trade on our strengths in building healthy, long-term relationships with our customers,” Norman said. “We work with the world’s best manufacturers of inks, toners, media, and consumable parts, and we look forward to sharing those products with our customers. Our ColorMatch team, led by Mike Midkiff (Director, North America) and Peter Barton (Director, EMEA), will ensure that we deliver the highest possible value to this growing market.”
