Kodak to Provide Onsite Technical Services for Astute Networks

An agreement between Kodak and Astute Networks will provide comprehensive onsite service to customers of Astute's ViSX G3 Solutions that use performance-optimized flash to accelerate virtualization and cloud computing. KODAK Service and Support will provide all onsite service and a full range of parts. Astute Networks will continue to provide phone-based technical support.

Astute Networks' ViSX G3 with NETWORKED PERFORMANCE FLASH (NPF) is the first performance-optimized architecture that eliminates I/O bottlenecks and delivers high speed datastores for best virtual machine performance. Designed for use with high-performance applications and business-critical databases including Exchange, SHAREPOINT, ORACLE, SAP and SQL, ViSX G3 Solutions enables increased server consolidation, higher VM counts per physical server and faster backup and recovery. Working with Kodak will help Astute maintain peak-performance, ensure quality, and enhance product reliability.
