OEC Graphics to Become Exclusive N.A. Distributor of Sector Systems

Burr Ridge, IL – October 16, 2003 – OEC Graphics, Inc. and Gerber Innovations announced at Graph Expo 2003, that the two parties are in the final stages of negotiating an agreement whereby OEC will become the exclusive distributor of Sector Systems and supplies for North America. The Sector is a unique and innovative product that integrates coating blanket cutting into prepress workflows. Mark Jensen, President of OEC Graphics – Chicago, LLC states “Gerber Scientific has long been regarded as a premier designer and manufacturer of precision CAM and cutting equipment. As the industry leader in offset coating plate and blanket converting services, OEC is the perfect partner to help Gerber bring the Sector advantage to all printers in North America.” The Sector provides coating accuracy exceeding that of hand-cut blankets, ensuring proper registration of printed images.
