CHILI Publish Joins Enfocus Crossroads

Press release from the issuing company

New Crossroads Application Partner kicks off Exploring New Worlds tour demonstrating CHILI Publisher 2.0 Switch-integrated technology

Ghent, Belgium – Enfocus is pleased to welcome CHILI Publish – builder of online document editing software CHILI Publisher -- as an Application Partner in the Enfocus Crossroads1 community.

Crossroads is a tight-knit network of Enfocus Switch users and vendors. Switch easily integrates, and then automates, functionality derived from third-party applications like CHILI Publisher. A visual flow editor assists users in easily creating automated workflows from scratch or import pre-designed flows from the Enfocus Crossroads community website.

"We are pleased to welcome CHILI Publish to our vastly expanding Crossroads community," says Angelo Manno, Enfocus Global Account Manager, Crossroads & OEM. "CHILI Publish is the first Crossroads Application Partner who will enable backend automation into a customer's web portal. With the upcoming launch of CHILI Publisher 2.0, especially, we are looking forward to being able to provide users with even more automation benefits."

For example, images can be automatically inserted into the CHILI Publisher's DAM solution, or documents can be automatically prepared and placed online for customers to finish the design, or simply approve, the artwork.

CHILI Publisher 2.0
CHILI Publish joins Crossroads touting CHILI Publisher, complete online editing software technology that can be built directly into users' own web-applications, such as print on demand and web-to-print.

Professionals can use CHILI Publisher as an engine to plug-in to an existing or new web-based workflow; to design, create, and collaborate on documents with printers and agencies. Output can be generated for print and/or interactive media.

Bram Verniest, CHILI Publish Managing partner, says, "Enfocus Switch is either already being used, or can be used, in many of our customers' workflows today. What is nice is that they can easily arrange a workflow that would be part-Switch, part-web publication while using CHILI Publisher to edit documents online. We wanted to become a Crossroads application partner to be able to share this very idea, for starters."

Bram says numerous other opportunities influenced CHILI to become a Crossroads member. "There are many links between Enfocus Switch and CHILI Publisher," he says, "but at the same time, the products are not competitive; they are actually complementary."

Bram also notes that he has come across many companies that are using Switch that have asked if they can integrate Publisher with Switch. "Now that we are a Crossroads partner," he says, "our development team has been working hard to make the integration a reality. The first public showing of the integration between Publisher and Switch will be during our Exploring New Worlds tour."

Exploring New Worlds
CHILI Publish's joining of Enfocus Crossroads comes at a pivotal time for the company, which is launching its new CHILI Publisher 2.0 in Antwerp, Belgium at a kick-off event on October 6, 2011. The tour continues from there, making stops in New York, London, Paris and Oslo. Register online for any of the free world tour events: www.chilipublish.com/worldtour.

"The Exploring New Worlds theme refers not only to our worldwide tour showcasing the newest CHILI Publisher version," says Bram, "but also showing the world about what they have available at their fingertips with online editing and workflow integration."

"We believe very strongly in collaborative marketing and are looking forward to gaining benefits from the vast Crossroads reach, as well as sharing our own expertise with other members and Switch users."
