Kongsberg's popular table delivers results

The Kongsberg i-XP24 cutting table is EskoArtwork's best-selling finishing system among sign and display companies worldwide. This workhorse offers a comprehensive finishing solution, providing automation, high productivity and outstanding precision. The i-cut Vision Pro control system individually adjusts cut files to perfectly match the printed graphics.

The Kongsberg i-XL24 can handle a wide variety of materials: all grades of corrugated board, display carton, corrugated plastic, foam boards and rigid display materials, such as MDF, plywood and acrylics. It comes complete with a range of expandable tooling options, including a pressure-controlled, high-precision kiss-cutting knife tool, a reciprocating knife tool for corrugated and foam board, a static knife tool for solid materials, a crease tool for packaging materials and a milling tool for rigid materials.

Streamlined workflow – improved productivity

EskoArtwork's i-cut Suite streamlines the entire workflow – from design and prepress to the digital press and finished product. Even files that contain errors or are missing vital information can be quickly repaired early in the workflow, saving valuable time and reducing waste.  i-cut Suite ensures efficient sheet layout, printing and digital finishing with a smoother, more cost-effective manufacturing process.

Part of the EskoArtwork Suite 10, i-cut Suite includes three core modules:

  • i-cut Preflight handles preflighting of incoming PDF data, ensuring problems are solved at the beginning of the workflow.
  • i-cut Layout controls the layout and nesting of sheet layouts, optimizing substrate utilization, reducing cost and saving printing time.
  • i-cut Vision Pro ensures that die-less cutting contours perfectly match the printed images.

Also on display at Fespa Asia is ArtiosCAD, the structural design software preferred by industry- leading professionals worldwide . This powerful solution enables designers to easily build structural designs and 3D point-of-purchase (POP) displays. It features complete 3D integration,  quick prototyping of designs and presentations while eliminating communication errors and significantly reducing design review cycles.

"The Sign & Display market is rapidly growing in Asia. The adoption of large format digital printers happens at a faster pace over here than in the rest of the world today", says Jean-Pierre De Moor, Vice President Asia Pacific & Japan for EskoArtwork:  "We have substantially invested in the region in recent years to provide comprehensive local support for our Asian customers. We are the ideal partner for the Asian Sign & Display makers that want to add digital finishing to their fast growing array of printers. We look forward to see many of them at Fespa Asia"
