Durham, – At GRAPH EXPO, Bell and Howell has introduced Harmonix, a solution that can substantially improve inserting productivity using real-time machine, operator and application information, enabling mailers to achieve an improvement in net throughput and a reduction in processing time and cost. With Harmonix, mailers can realize a level of optimization not previously obtainable.

Harmonix synchronizes the interaction between operator, machine and the mailpiece, resulting in each application running at the optimum speed throughout the entire run. By automatically adjusting cycle speeds based on variable set sizes, machine performance and material levels, both the operator and the system run at maximum efficiency with a lower cost per piece.
