Bell and Howell Introduces New IQ Series at GRAPH EXPO

Press release from the issuing company

Integrated Software Suite for Mailers of All Sizes

Durham, – At GRAPH EXPO, Bell and Howell will introduce its new IQ Series Software Suite, a solution set of tightly integrated and scalable best-of-breed modules. The IQ Software Suite is designed to help customers increase the impact and relevancy of every messaging item, drive costs out of their operations, maximize productivity and efficiency, satisfy postal regulations, and adhere to the strictest corporate and regulatory integrity guidelines. The IQ Series Software Suite will be featured in Booth 4622 at GRAPH EXPO, Sept. 11 through Sept. 14 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The IQ Series Software Suite has an open, vendor-neutral architecture, enabling companies to leverage their existing hardware and software investments and integrate heterogeneous environments under a single management solution. Modules of the solution are available as a software package or as a hosted service, providing companies with more options for how and where they invest and manage their IT personnel and infrastructure.

"Our customers span many different vertical markets and sizes, and they all have common and unique requirements," said Mark Toussaint, product manager, ADF Solutions. "With IQ's open and modular architecture, we are able to provide the capabilities that they need, combined with an unmatched ability to integrate within their existing environments. We are very excited to provide such a strong solution set to our customers."

The IQ Series Software Suite now delivers the benefits of enterprise-class ADF tools to a wider range of customers, with the availability of the new Item Tracking module. Item Tracking helps customers raise their integrity control and satisfy regulatory requirements by providing an automated and detailed audit trail of every item processed. The new Item Tracking module is tightly integrated with Bell and Howell's JETVision systems and has been packaged specifically to meet the needs and budgets of small to mid-sized mailers.

"Our vision is to provide customers of any size with an integrated suite of products that provides the highest data quality and postage savings," said Hank Martin, vice president, Postal Sorting Software. "All from a trusted and reliable partner, Bell and Howell."

The IQ Series is comprised of updated modules that enable a wide range of capabilities, including:

  • Performance IQ – for improving operational performance, efficiency and integrity. Enables companies to monitor, track and report on all facets of their production environment, including jobs, machines, operators and messaging items, and includes easy-to-use and dynamic reporting services that can integrate with third-party systems.

Application development is simplified, reducing the time required to improve document impact, add personalization or color, transform and render print streams, add barcodes, build control files for integrity tracking and design for multi-channel delivery.
  • Postal IQ – for data and address quality, IMB and USPS Full-service requirements, postal automation, reducing postage costs, satisfying postal regulations and streamlining operations.
