ANRO Print & Digital Solutions Recognize Local Businesswomen

Press release from the issuing company

West Chester-based ANRO Print & Digital Solutions announces its partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce to sponsor a series of events focused on the professional development of local businesswomen.

Over the next year, ANRO will sponsor several events that share the same purpose – recognizing and supporting the professional and personal advancement of women in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Throughout its 58-year history, ANRO has maintained strong ties to the community through its involvement in local events and donations to a wide variety of organizations. The professional advancement of women is a cause that's near and dear to ANRO – especially to its founder, Rose Rossi, who started the company with her late husband Angelo in 1953.

"When Rose started ANRO in the 1950's, women business leaders were few and far between," says Susan Larson, ANRO's Director of Corporate Marketing. "Since then, there have been revolutionary changes in the status of women in business. Today, we try to do anything we can to continue that advancement and support the businesswomen in our region."

ANRO's partnership with the Chamber centers around three events planned for later this year and next year:

Women in the Workforce
This event helps woman professionals grow and develop their careers by learning from prominent female executives who have already achieved success in their fields. Panelists discuss their own professional journeys and career ambitions while offering tips on networking, self-promotion, and mentoring. The Women in the Workforce event will be held in December.

Paradigm Award & Scholarship Luncheon
The Paradigm Award is presented annually to a woman in business whose outstanding professional, socioeconomic and personal achievements serve as a model for success. The Scholarship program is designed to enhance the career aspirations of working women by awarding annual scholarships to women who wish to complete their undergraduate degrees while working full-time for Chamber member companies. The Paradigm Luncheon will be held in March 2012.

Women Take Charge
This event inspires female professionals to reach greater success by featuring successful women and their triumphs in the business world. The program features motivational speakers and business coaches and focuses on challenges women currently face in corporate America. Women Take Charge is scheduled for June 2012.
