Moore Wallace Wins 24 Gold Ink Awards in 2003 Annual Competition

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario & NEW YORK--Oct. 3, 2003-- Eight facilities in the commercial print division of Moore Wallace Incorporated were recently recognized for outstanding achievement in print, winning a total of 24 Gold Ink Awards. Co-sponsored by notable industry publications Printing Impressions and Print Media, the prestigious North American competition acknowledges excellence in the world of printed material. The 2003 Gold Ink winners were chosen from more than 1,600 nationwide entries across 45 categories. Entries are judged by an independent panel of graphic artists, print buyers and production managers. Winners are selected based on superior print quality, quality of color separations, technical difficulty, and overall visual effectiveness. "The acquisition of Wallace Computer Services significantly expanded our presence in the commercial print space and enhanced our ability to offer our customers the most comprehensive portfolio of integrated print solutions," said Dean Cherry, Moore Wallace Group President, Commercial & Direct Mail. Andrews (Bedford, MA): Two awards Moore Wallace State Printing (Columbia, SC): Two awards Moore Wallace Nielsen (Florence, KY): Two awards Moore Wallace Hoechstetter Printing (Pittsburgh, PA): One award Moore Wallace was honored at the Gold Ink Awards/Hall of Fame Banquet on September 29 in Chicago, Illinois during the Graph Expo & Converting Expo.
