Press release from the issuing company

West Chester, OH; - Color-Logic-developer of the Process Metallic Color System-has announced the immediate availability of Version 2.0 of its popular Process Metallic Color System Design Suite.  Discussing the new software, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves commented: "Color-Logic has significantly expanded the capability of our Design Suite.  New features available to graphic designers include the ability to output separation files specifically tailored for printing on offset, flexographic, digital (HP Indigo, Xeikon, and EFI Jetrion), and certain wide format presses.  Graphic designers can now prepare cross-media metallic separations for execution using any process desired by their clients.  Version 2.0 of the Process Metallic Color System Design Suite is available directly from Color-Logic at www.color-logic.com or from a licensed Color-Logic printer."

The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System enables printers to produce dramatic metallic special effects on their presses.  Printers are encouraged to produce their own proprietary metallic swatchbooks on the substrates their customers most often utilize.  These swatchbooks dramatically demonstrate the 250 metallic hues available using only five colors on press.  With the Color-Logic system, printers can reliably and consistently achieve metallic effects without expensive postpress finishing.

Color-Logic develops color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications.  Color-Logic provides brand owners, product managers, corporations, and their advertising agencies the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients with a simple print production process that yields dramatic results.  Color-Logic special effects utilize the existing workflows of printers and designers, yielding dynamic results without the use of special equipment.  Color-Logic supports the value of print and works with designers and printers to enhance their printed media.  For more information, visit www.color-logic.com or call 513-258-0047.
