Fairfax, Virginia – SGIA announces a new sales-free Expert Advice Zone at the 2011 Expo (New Orleans, October 19-21) - the Narrow Format Zone. While the industry is still generally focused on large-format production; today, more customers are tapping into the narrow-format market, and thus prompting more imagers to add narrow-format capabilities, such as OEM markings, labels, small POP components, nameplates and much more. The all-new Narrow Format Zone will offer unrivaled opportunities for imagers to connect with industry leaders and gain a competitive edge for their business.

SGIA Expo attendees also can learn how to leverage their existing equipment to develop narrow-format products by attending a one-day conference the day before the Expo floor opens. In partnership with SGIA, Photofinishing News, Inc. (an international consulting and publishing company) will present: New Photo Opportunities Conference on October 18 (8:00 am–5:00 pm) at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in New Orleans. The event will focus on personalized photo products and partner relationships with customer outlets. Registration for this event is available through SGIA Expo registration.
