Taopix Photobook Reaches New Regions

Press release from the issuing company

Photo book software manufacturer, Taopix, has announced its intention to focus sales activity in Belgium and Luxemburg with the formation of Taopix BeNeLux.

This growth in territory is a direct result of the successful introduction of the Taopix Photobook platform into the Netherlands which has resulted in over €1m in revenue for Taopix customers in the region during this last quarter.

Says Marco Vlaanderen, Sales Director for Taopix Benelux: "Taopix Photobook has proven to be a winner in the Netherlands. Its reliability and flexibility have been pivotal in providing customers with a valuable, new source of revenue. We have deployed the software into some key accounts in the Netherlands and wish to emulate this success in Belgium and Luxemburg."

Adds Dianne Moralee, Marketing Director for Taopix: "Photo books are still on an upward trend and we know the market is predicted to be worth over €600m in Western Europe by 2012. There is enough potential business for everyone to have their share and I am confident that we can bring new opportunities to early adopters in the new regions."

The Taopix Photobook platform is the ideal partner to access new markets. Its flexibility allows digital printers and pro labs to tailor photo merchandise products to both the consumer and the professional photography markets. It's also proving to be the ultimate 'white label' solution for those customers who are manufacturing photo books on behalf of well-known brands and retailers.

Taopix Benelux has appointed Leon Verkerk as Taopix Business Unit Manager. He and a team of dedicated support personnel will be responsible for all sales, training and product deployment in the new territories.
