Press release from the issuing company

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - For print buying pros, creatives and marketers who want to benefit from the insights of thought leaders in the graphic arts, digital printing, and content marketing, Chicago is the place to be this September. The reason? PBI's 6th Annual Print & Media Conference takes place on September 13th and 14th at McCormick Place, alongside Graph Expo.

For the first time, Print Buyers International (PBI) is holding its annual conference in Chicago. The event will co-locate at Graph Expo, the U.S. print industry's largest annual trade show and conference. Previous PBI conferences have been held in New England.

PBI Conference attendees can choose from 16 sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13th and 14th. More than 20 speakers will participate, including experts in digital printing, G7, mobile computing, color management, print buying practices, sustainability, multi-channel marketing, QR codes, and paper.

PBI's 2011 Conference is this year's only independent conference targeting customers of print & digital media. The program was built to address the most pressing needs of today's print media specialists.

Online registration is now available for the 2011 PBI Print & Media Conference. Group rates are available for 3 or more registrants from the same firm. Print Buyer Boot Camp, running all day Monday, September 12th, is also open for registration.

Early Bird prices are available only through July 31st, and include ticketing options for the two-day Conference, the one-day Print Buyer Boot Camp, or any combination of the two PBI events. Members of Print Buyers International are offered the best discounts. For information on joining PBI, visit www.printbuyersinternational.com/join-pbi/pbi-membership.

Additional benefits for conference attendees include complimentary tickets to the Graph Expo show floor, with 500+ exhibitors, plus discounted prices for rooms at 27 Chicago hotels. Airline discounts are also offered to PBI attendees. Details on hotels and airfare are at http://www.graphexpo.com/HotelTravel.aspx.

"We're really excited to be part of the Graph Expo buzz this year," said PBI founder Margie Dana. "For anyone in the graphic arts, going to Graph Expo is like a kid going to Disneyland. And we've built a program like no other. It includes cutting-edge print manufacturing information, best practices for print buyers, multi-channel marketing case studies, and some sessions on newer media, including QR codes, mobile computing – and content marketing – which affects all of us in the graphic arts.

The Conference kicks off on Tuesday with a keynote address by Joe Pulizzi, a leading author, speaker and strategist for content marketing. Joe is first and foremost a content marketing evangelist. He founded the Content Marketing Institute – visit http://contentmarketinginstitute.com/ . His keynote, sponsored by Fujifilm, is entitled, "Diving into the Content Marketing Revolution."

Nine other sessions will run on Tuesday, leading up to the cocktail reception in the Sponsor Center at day's end. Six sessions will run on Wednesday, with time built in for attendees to visit sponsors as well as the Graph Expo show floor.

PBI's 6th Annual Conference will have its own ballroom and breakout rooms at McCormick Place. The Sponsor Center, accommodating 30 sponsors, will take up half the ballroom, while the other half is reserved for roundtables.
