RICHMOND, Virginia – MeadWestvaco (MWV) corporation announced today that their Tango Advantage Digital C2S product line is now HP Indigo-certified and offers enhanced sturdiness for a higher quality, more substantial feel to any printed piece.   The new product is also certified for Kodak Nexpress and guaranteed to run on Xerox iGen and most other production volume digital presses.
 
The new offering will begin shipping to MWV merchants July 1 and will include 10 and 12 pt. C2S calipers, as well as a C2S 14 pt. caliper to satisfy the demand from Indigo users for heavier cover options.   The respective cover weights (20x26) for these calipers are 87 pound, 100 pound and 113 pound.  The new Tango digital offering has the same 92 brightness and clean-white styling as the Tango Advantage coated cover product line.  Matching shade ensures a consistent look across a print campaign whether the pieces are printed on an offset or digital press.

MWV's proprietary coating and finishing process delivers a 100# (12 pt.) digital cover (and a folio equivalent as well) that is the exact same weight as competitive coated free sheet cover offerings, yet it provides 80 percent greater stiffness and sturdiness.
