Boston, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland – GMC Software Technology, the standard in customer communications, today announced as a Xerox Business Innovation Partner, National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) has standardized on GMC Software Technology. NISC will be able to drive 12 million personalized images, including six million statements and a variety of customer correspondence per month using GMC. Additionally, NISC can more easily go to market with new customers, react quicker to customer changes, support graphical business charts along with better color control.

NISC is an information technology company that develops and supports software and hardware solutions for their member-owners who are primarily utility cooperatives and telecommunications companies. NISC is also an industry leader providing advanced, integrated IT solutions for consumer and subscriber billing, accounting, engineering and operations. Through their member-owners, NISC delivers customer correspondence to over five million consumers in 47 states, American Samoa and Canada.

"Before selecting GMC, our previous software solution hindered the speed of new client acquisitions and had significant restrictions on incorporating data-driven graphics," said Rick Willmann, Manager of Automated Mail Services at NISC. "The partnership between Xerox and GMC Software Technology will provide an end-to-end customer communication management solution for companies like NISC" said Gavin Jordan-Smith, Vice President, Production Workflow and Solutions at Xerox Corporation. " By combining the core strengths of both organizations we are able to deliver a growing number of innovative applications for customers around the world".

Using GMC, NISC will be able to offer their existing and future member-owners faster turnaround on statement changes, TransPromo-based statements as well highly personalized customer correspondence that includes data-driven graphics and business charts. Internally, NISC will also be able to minimize engineering time with the ability to accept multiple input files from a variety of database formats.

"We are honored that despite the highly-competitive environment, NISC has made a significant investment in solutions from GMC Software Technology," said Scott Baker, Vice President of Worldwide Channels at GMC Software Technology. "Together with Xerox, we look forward to helping them expand their reach and offer new personalized communications solutions to their member-owners."
