(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that Hesston Prestige Printing (Hesston) has enhanced and expanded its print operations with the bizhub PRESS C7000 Color Digital Press from Konica Minolta.  Leveraging fast output speeds and vivid color output, Hesston has not only broadened its services portfolio with Konica Minolta's newest color digital press, but also realized time and cost savings across the entire organization.
 
As part of an initiative to offer yearbook printing to schools in Kansas and surrounding areas, Hesston chose to expand their current print fleet to include a digital press that would deliver fast, high-quality output with a variety of finishing options.  A current Konica Minolta customer, Hesston determined that the bizhub PRESS C7000 would be the best and most reliable solution.  The recently launched digital press allows Hesston to offer yearbook printing with higher quality at a more reasonable price, while also improving their overall productivity with enhanced stock and speed capabilities. Additionally, Hesston selected Konica Minolta's custom-designed IC-601 Internal Print Controller to bring powerful workflow benefits including 1,200 dpi printing at full rated engine speed, high-speed RIP processing and color management functions such as, job control, editing and remote operation capabilities.
