QuadTech Appoints Nirplex as Israeli Sales Agent

Press release from the issuing company

Sussex, Wisconsin, USA – QuadTech, the global leader in press control technology, has appointed Nirplex Exclusive Agencies (Rosh Ha'ayn, Israel) to act as its sales agency in Israel. Since it was formed in 1978, Nirplex has represented a host of technology leaders, active across all stages of the print workflow, with clients including Holmen, Exxon Mobil, Cham Paper Group, Iggesund, Meyr Melnhof Karton, and Alcan.

As QuadTech's representatives, the company offers a local point for advice and support, in the local language, to current and potential customers seeking press control technology solutions.

"Nirplex has established an impressive reputation for professionalism and industry insight as one of the country's leading suppliers to the packaging, newspaper and commercial printing sectors. With their expertise, we are well-positioned to strengthen our commitment to our Israeli customers," comments Karl Fritchen, QuadTech's president.

Uri Ronen, partner at Nirplex, commented: "Israel's printing industry faces serious challenges and opportunities in an increasingly global market. Greater access to QuadTech's color and inspection technology will raise the competitiveness of Israel's expanding print market, as it seeks ways to meet the demand for consistent higher quality while driving waste from the production chain."

QuadTech's press control technology has gained world-wide acclaim for its ability to cope with high volume data, including register and spectrophotometric data, at speeds of up to 18 m/sec. Product program highlights include the MultiCam color -to-color register camera, which has recently exceeded 10,000 global unit sales; SpectralCam featuring Instrument Flight, the result of a collaboration with System Brunner, controlling mid-tone dot-gain and three-color gray balance; QuadTech's Inspection System, which utilizes the most sophisticated defect analysis in the industry, scans the entire repeat length, and measures color on both paper and film for the packaging market; and AccuCam, a CIELAB-based color control system for newspaper printers that also provides fast detection of scumming, plate verification, and other inspection capabilities. The company has also boosted its service commitments with the launch of its Performance Proven Guarantee, specifying promised performance improvements after investment in a QuadTech system, and Proactive Care, an around-the-clock, global diagnostic service.
