Colter & Peterson forms new company Colter & Peterson Pacific

January 9, 2004 – (Paramus, NJ) Colter & Peterson, Inc, headquartered in Paramus NJ, and Roy Peterson Cutting Equipment in Phoenix, AZ, have joined together to purchase Pacific Paper Cutters, Inc. in Vernon, CA. The new entity will be known as Colter & Peterson Pacific, with locations in Phoenix, AZ and Vernon, CA. With this acquisition, Colter & Peterson has expanded its support structure to cover Southern California and the entire Southwest USA. Effective immediately, all customers of both Pacific Paper Cutters and Roy Peterson Cutting Equipment will be serviced by the new entity, Colter & Peterson Pacific. C&P Pacific will offer its customers the full range of new Saber, Prism, Wohlenberg and Maxima paper cutters; Baumann, Knorr, Rachner and Schneider Engineering paper handling equipment as well as the full line of microcut products produced by their affiliate, C&P Microsystems located in San Rafael, CA. Colter & Peterson Pacific will also sell, service and support the new Wohlenberg and JMD perfect-binding lines as well as the new Perfecta, Horauf, Wohlenberg and Accutrim three knife trimmers offered by Colter & Peterson’s Amatco division. Colter & Peterson Pacific service technicians will service the Harris-Seybold and Dexter-Lawson paper cutter lines which Colter & Peterson purchased in 2002 and 2003. Parts for most models of paper cutters are in stock or can be supplied overnight from the Colter & Peterson parts distribution center in Paterson, NJ.
