The K305 system offers an extremely flexible and easily operated system, which is ideal for organisations needing to do small to mid-size mailings of up to 3,600 items per hour in the most efficient way.
 
Unlike any other systems available on the UK market, the K305 boasts a unique object feeder which allows for a broad variety of mailing combinations, including brochures, catalogues, leaflets, single sheet documents, reply envelopes and using the object feeder CD's DVD's pens and other promotional gifts.  The system has been designed to be compatible with all the most popular envelope formats: DL, C5, and C4.

Modular concept
 
The flexibility of the system derives from the modular concept that means that a tailor-made solution can be created to meet a wide variety of mailing requirements.  The key component is the K305 DMI Inserter, which has a packing thickness of up to 12 mm and can handle long edge and short edge flap envelopes, with an inserting speed of up to 3,600 per hour and capacity to handle up to 250,000 envelopes monthly.
 
The modular concept makes it possible to easily add the K305 TF tower feeder, with 6 feeders and the BF booklet feeder module – a combination which allows users to insert catalogues up to 8mm thick, leaflets, a letter and reply envelope in any sequence desired.
 
Flexible Operating
 
The K305 offers two different operating modes depending on preference and type of job. The standard configuration, where documents are brought to the feeder, allows all types of jobs be processed from a straightforward non-personalised mass mailing up to a highly dedicated mail shot to targeted customers.
 
The manual feeding option is ideal for smaller jobs or where the user has presorted documents. It also opens up the possibility to include odd sized material or giveaways into a mailing.
 
Customer service is at the heart of Kern's ethos and all products are supplied with a service agreement, covering ongoing maintenance and 24/7 call out if required.
