TENSOR GROUP Extends Presses for News Corp and Dar Al Qabas

Press release from the issuing company

Woodridge, IL – Two major TENSOR presses will be expanded this quarter with additional 4-high towers.  News Corporation's Post-Courier in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and Dar Al Qabas in Safat, Kuwait, have again chosen TENSOR to increase pagination and color on their existing T-1400 TENSOR presses.

South Pacific Post, a News Corporation company and publisher of the Post-Courier, the oldest and largest selling national newspaper in Papua New Guinea with a daily circulation of over 26,000, will boast a 16-unit, two-folder press after the additional tower is added.  South Pacific Post also prints a number of weekly newspapers and monthly magazines on the TENSOR press originally installed in 2008.

Dar Al Qabas, one of Kuwait's premier newspaper publishers, is now completing its fourth press expansion with this latest tower addition to its heatset/coldset press (originally installed in 2004).  The extensive TENSOR press will soon be comprised of 38 press units, two folders and one dryer.  A stacker is also being added to the post press department.
